YBrs Dr Nungsari Ahmad Radhi, Chairman of Khazanah Research Institute & a member of the Policy Advisory Committee to the Prime Minister will be delivering the keynote address at Perdana Leadership Foundation’s Perdana Discourse Series 24: "Balancing Economic Growth with Social Equity in Malaysia: Building an Equitable and Prosperous Future", sponsored by DRB-HICOM Berhad, which to be held on 14th November 2024 at Perdana Leadership Foundation.

The discourse will explore Malaysia’s journey towards balancing economic growth with social equity, examining the nation’s progress, challenges, and strategic priorities. This session will address critical issues such as the urban-rural divide, social mobility, education’s role in reducing income disparities, and the effectiveness of fiscal reforms.

A panel session will be held after the keynote address, providing further insights into the theme and will feature the following panellists: Professor Datuk Dr Norma Mansor, Director, Social Wellbeing Research Centre (SWRC), Universiti Malaya; Dr Mohd Afzanizam Abdul Rashid, Chief Economist, Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad; Ms Syalin Koh, Research, Design, and Impact Manager, Teach For Malaysia; and Mr Muhammed Ahmad Hamdan, Media Prima News Anchor & TV Host as the moderator.
