Following the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on 14 October 2024, where shareholders will vote on the proposed disposal of Capital A’s aviation business to AirAsia X (AAX), this press conference will be an opportunity to learn more about the 'New Dawn' for Capital A and the future of AirAsia.
Tony Fernandes, CEO of Capital A, will lead the session, sharing insights into the Group’s vision as it embarks on a fresh strategic direction, with a renewed focus on innovative growth.
Additionally, we are excited to announce a special guest panel from OAG Aviation, who will present exclusive insights from the OAG Megahubs 2024 report. This report has named Kuala Lumpur (KUL) as the second most connected hub globally after London Heathrow, with AirAsia being the dominant carrier. The discussion will delve into how Kuala Lumpur’s connectivity is a testament to AirAsia’s pivotal role in the region and its continued contribution to the global aviation industry.
